Hôtel Capelongue — Bonnieux

Poised on the edge of the Claparèdes plateau, Hôtel Capelongue offers sweeping views across the hills of the Petit Luberon and the village of Bonnieux below. It will serve as the central hub for our wedding weekend, including Friday’s welcome soirée.

We have reserved a room block and would love for our guests to stay on property with us from Friday, June 19th through Sunday, June 21st.

We are pleased to offer supplemental room rates for Friday and Saturday nights, and the hotel has kindly extended preferred rates for guests who wish to arrive earlier or stay longer.

Rates listed are per night and include breakfast. All rooms are available with king or twin bed configurations. Guests will remain in the same room for the duration of their stay.

Room reservations for Friday and Saturday nights will be coordinated by Allison & Courtney. Payment for these nights should be made directly to Courtney using Zelle or Venmo. Any additional nights will be paid directly to Hôtel Capelongue.

Getting to Provence

From the United States, Provence is easily reached via several international gateways. Most travelers fly into Paris, Nice, or Marseille, then continue onward by train or car.

Hôtel Capelongue is located in Bonnieux, in the heart of the Luberon. The closest high-speed train stations are Avignon TGV and Aix-en-Provence TGV, both approximately 35–50 km from the hotel. Taxis, rideshares, or hotel-arranged transfers are available from each station.

    • From central Paris: Trains depart from Paris Gare de Lyon to Avignon TGV or Aix-en-Provence TGV.

    • Travel time: approximately 2.5–3.25 hours

    • From the station, continue by taxi or hotel transfer to Capelongue (45–60 minutes).

  • By Car

    • Renting a car and driving from Nice to the Luberon via the A8 motorway takes approximately 2 hours.

    By Train

    • Frequent SNCF / OUIGO trains connect Nice with Aix-en-Provence TGV.

    • Travel time: approximately 2.5–4 hours, depending on service

    • From Aix-en-Provence TGV, continue by taxi, rideshare, or hotel transfer (35–45 minutes)

  • By Car

    • From Marseille, Bonnieux can be reached in approximately 1–1.5 hours by car.

    By Train

    • Take a TER regional train from Marseille St-Charles to Cavaillon.

    • Travel time: approximately 1 hour 15 minutes

    • From Cavaillon, continue by taxi, rideshare, or hotel transfer to Capelongue

  • We recommend renting a car to explore the Luberon and surrounding villages at your own pace. All major European rental car providers are available throughout France. For convenience, you can book directly through Expedia below.

  • Hôtel Capelongue is able to organize private transfers for guests between the hotel and any desired location. Please note that Bonnieux is a small village, and last-minute transportation services can be difficult to secure, so we strongly recommend arranging transportation well in advance.

    We work with a well-established and reputable local taxi agency that operates several vehicles of varying sizes. To organize transfers, we would need the following information for each service:

    • Date

    • Pick-up location

    • Number of passengers

    • Desired departure time

    • Drop-off location and return time (if applicable)

    • Luggage details

    • Presence of children and whether car seats are required

    Payment can be made in advance via a secure payment link. Please note that any cancellation made less than 48 hours prior to the service will be fully charged.
